The Port Dickson Municipal Council was officially declared Municipal Council on 2 February 2002. It has an area of 140.32 sq km (54.18 sq mi). The area is divided into two areas ie 35.87 sq km and a control area of 104.45 sq km. Port area of Port Dickson is 395.5 acres or 160.1 hectares. Along the coast of Port Dickson features the modernized coastal resort township, the interior of which combines the mix of agricultural, commercial and industrial activities.
