On July 2, 2018, the NRE was restructured to become the Ministry of Water, Land and Natural Resources (KATS) while on March 9, 2020, KATS was reorganized as the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA)

After almost 13 years PERDA has been placed under the supervision of the Prime Minister's Department of Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU), on October 19, 2018 PERDA transferred to the Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB).
